Nasilje nad decom
Svako dete je kao knjiga. Prve stranice ispisuju odrasli, one cesto nisu deo dobre knjige.
Nažalost, svi smo svesni raznih oblika nasilja nad decom, od svih oblika psihickog i fizickog zlostavljanja, seksualnog eksploatisanja, poticaja na mrznju, koje za posledicu imaju bolna i traumaticna iskustva koja specavaju pravilan i normalan razvoj dece.
Deca svet vide ocima svojih roditelja i onim što ih okružuje.
Na okruglom stolu, pod nazivom "Pravo na život - terorizam nad decom", održanom u Novom Sadu 13. 12. 2003. susrele su se omladine politickih partija iz zemlje i regiona kako bi definisale postojeci problem i pomogle u rešavanju ovog neprijatnog dela naše svakodnevice - terorizma i nasilja nad decom. Naš apel je prvenstveno bio upucen što hitnijem osnivanju nacionalnih programa za mlade i borbu protiv nasilja nad decom.
Zajednicka doneta rešenja su:
Potpisivanje deklaracije o medusobnoj saradnji omladina politickih partija u zemlji i regionu, u smislu podrške i konkretnih ideja u sprecavanju nasilja nad decom.
Potpisnice sporazuma radice na medijskoj prepoznatljivosti problema u svojoj zemlji: Nasilje nad decom je problem svih nas, o tome treba govoriti, tek ako smo svesni postojanja problema možemo se nadati rešenju!
Neke od ideja za akcije ovog tipa su: medijska prezentacija (emisije sa strucnim licima, crtani film, javni razgovori, tribine isl.), edukacije i radionice dece i odraslih, otvaranje SOS kancelarija i dr.
Ovo je bio samo prvi korak u borbi protiv terorizma nad decom. Nadamo se da smo svojim primerom uspeli da pokažemo da je problem nasilja nad decom, problem koji je iznad granica i politike zemalja. To je problem svih nas, i samo tako gledajuci mozemo pronaci rešenje. |
Somewhere over the rainbow
In Serbia the Wizard of Oz helps making the population aware of the large number of children hurt by the conflicts of the area.
Two young boys drowned in a river Kosovo. The death of the boys laid the foundation of a network-coorperation to make the populations aware of how much children suffer in the Balkan unrest.
“The boys did not do anything wrong. And niether does the other children who are physically injured or in other ways hurt by the local conflicts. That is why we want to attract attention to the children of Balkan and their human rigths”, says Mire Pavlovic, the main local frontrunner on a project born from a despair of the death of the boys.
Part of the project is fifteen children from a Serbian theater-group. They travel around the country to visit elementary schools with the director of the play Right to live in strange land Oz – a production on children's rights based on the old novel. The play was created by the children through workshops, Mire explains.
“ The children descided what they thougth was important to know about children's rights and the situation in their area. Set up with interesting scenografi and music it makes a play, that has been met with great applaus on the schools where it has been performed so far . The performance helps raising the awareness of the children being very exposed in the regional conflict and hopefully it will lead to less of them being hurt”, he says.
